Maitland Art Gallery is a masterpiece in itself, the Federation Gothic building housing Maitland's New Regional Gallery is a fascinating example of early 1900's architecture.

Maitland Regional Art Gallery houses a large and significant collection of contemporay Australian paintings and works on paper. The collection began with the Maitland Art Prize in the 1950's and has been enriched over the years through generous donations.

Visitors are able to enjoy regular changing exibitions of high quality Australian and International Art.
